Can you transfer to a different ship?
Once you have experience working on one ship, it is easy to transfer to different ships, particularly if the ship is a part of the same cruise line. You will also make so many contacts and will be notified of other opportunities within other cruise ships once your contract ends.

Can I choose the ship that I work on?
You can have certain preferences; however, it is better to keep your options open, as this will increase your chances of getting your dream job.

Does the itinerary vary on cruise ships?
Most cruise ships have their set itinerary, and the majority travel to many countries. There are however some that only travel to the Caribbean, or Alaska, or to a certain cluster of islands. Ship itineraries usually change from one year to the next.
