Duties

• Constantly in the public eye and often serve as the mouthpiece for the ship
• Greet passengers as they board and disembark
• Assist shore excursions staff who give port talks
• Arrange parties and dinners, acting as master of ceremonies at selected events and introducing the Captain to passengers at the Captain's Ball
• Occasionally assist in the library
• Report to the Cruise Director or Assistant Cruise Director

Qualifications/Experience

• Experience in cruise industry highly advantageous
• Public relations experience essential
• Knowledge of operations of cruise ships is highly desirable
• Knowledge of history of cruise ships is highly desirable
• Social dance training is preferred
• Fluency in English
• Second language preferred
