Please note: you must be 21 to work on this cruise line. Some cruise lines will accept Youth Counselors who are 19 years old, and you may begin applying if you are 18.5 years old.

Duties

• Design age-specific programs for children on board
• Organize and lead youth activities in designated areas throughout the ship
• Act as a role model to youth with regard to leadership, friendliness, diplomacy, honesty, fair play, and sportsmanship
• Provide adequate care to children on board
• Communicate with parents in a tactful and courteous manner to maintain high levels of comfort
• Resolve issues among children
• Assist with disabled children
• Report to Cruise Director

Qualifications/Experience

• Minimum of two years work experience with children
• Degree in Education, Social Work, or Psychology, preferred
• Experience as a Camp Counselor an advantage
• Fluency in English
